Metrology Engineer

Successful candidates should have the following: A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience Minimum 4 years metrology service experience In-depth knowledge of cGMPs, other regulatory requirements and instrument calibration. Knowledge of assigned instrument, equipment and software, and relevant regulatory requirements. Ability to read and interpret documents and instructions, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and SOPs. Ability to perform mathematical calculations used for assigned testing. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to report data and observations accurately, both in writing and verbally. Statistician

Successful candidates should have the following: Candidates should have a B.S. in statistics, biostatistics, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Pharmaceutical development experience and prior experience with PAT equipment is highly desired. Knowledge of DOE and general linear models is essential. Must have proficient experience with Mini-Tab and/or JMP along with a familiarity with the Microsoft Product Suite. Candidates must have experience in the application of statistics for the development and optimization of drug product in support of small molecule regulatory filings preferred. Familiarity with the types of data generated in drug product development (e.g. dissolution, content uniformity, assay, etc.). Candidates must have strong written and verbal command of the English language. Quality Systems Auditor

Required Skills and Experience: * Auditor certification for GMP/pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred. * Experience auditing in a pharmaceutical environment. * Good Documentation Practices * Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Windows. * Experience with cGMP’s, FDA Regulations, FDA Guidances and other international regulatory agency regulations. * Experience with supply and/or quality agreements a plus. * Knowledge of statistics, QbD, DOE and other improvement techniques a plus.
